About El Convento Rico
El Convento Rico has been a Toronto institution at 750 College St since the 1990s: a Latin nightclub where salsa, merengue, bachata and reggaeton fill the floor and a legendary drag show stops everything around midnight.
It is one of the most inclusive rooms in the city. Bachelorettes, salsa dancers, the queer community and curious first-timers all share the same floor, and nobody leaves early.
