King Street West between Spadina and Bathurst is the centre of Toronto nightlife. Within a few blocks you get the most in-demand hip hop rooms in the city, a rooftop pool club, supper clubs that turn into dance floors after midnight, and a line of bottle-service nightclubs that fill up every Friday and Saturday.
The trade-off is the door. King West clubs enforce upscale dress codes, favour balanced groups and get selective after midnight. Guestlist sign-ups and table reservations are the reliable way in, especially on long weekends.
Getting here is easy: the 504 King streetcar runs along the strip, and rideshare pickups cluster at Portland St and Brant St.

Along King Street West between Spadina Avenue and Bathurst Street, plus the nearby blocks of Adelaide Street West. Most of the clubs are within a 10-minute walk of each other.
Upscale. Most King West nightclubs refuse hats, athletic wear, jerseys, shorts, sandals and baggy clothing, so dress up and arrive with a balanced group.
Join a guestlist before the night and arrive before the cutoff, usually 11 PM to midnight, or reserve a table. Walking up after midnight rarely works at the busiest rooms.
